The Book "Heroes You and
Me" is the first book
in the three books series.
"Heroes, You and Me" series is based on the guiding principle
that the elements of heroism exist in all different kinds of people.
The Heroes series also promotes the belief that we become parts of the people we share our lives with.
We borrow fragments of other peoples'
stories.
We share brief encounters with strangers.
We incorporate images of intimacy with our friends and loved ones.
The Author, Steve o. Simms, is
a composite of the people he has had the pleasure meeting during his travels.
People that include:
The lonely mother trying to salvage her self identity and finding inspiration in the most unlikely of places
As she explores the whimsy and fantasy in the shared imaginations with her grandmother
Or the wisdom of
someone's eccentric Uncle,
as he imparts his unique brand of wisdom
following his own odd course in life
Or the retired war
veteran who relives his glory years
from the comfort of his bar stool
